Alpiq’s Polish activities

Alpiq was founded in Switzerland over 100 years ago. For most of its history, our company was named Atel (Aare-Tessin Ltd. for Electricity). In December 2001, Atel Polska was established as the group’s Polish subsidiary. Effective from January 1, 2010, Alpiq’s Polish operations have been renamed to Alpiq Energy SE. There are no other significant changes to our local operations.
